The Philelfiana portal promotes the cultural expression of the Middle Ages and the Humanism era, with particular emphasis on the literary and material production related to archival and library documents of this historical period. Starting from specific lines of inquiry related to the figure of Francesco Filelfo, the project expands towards the inclusion of new research connected with a wider range of authors and texts.
To meet the need for an effective research ecosystem, the project has taken on a leading role in the development of NEXHUM, the new UniMc Digital Library, which has been enriched through the transfer and further expansion of the Re.Phi.Lex. and Bi.Phi.V. collections, as well as the inclusion of additional research sectors that interact with it within the framework of Re.Medi.Hum. (Renaissance, Medieval, and Humanistic Digital Library), a Community dedicated to the products of medieval, humanistic, and Renaissance research.
