The first stage of Itinera Adriatica, a traveling field research laboratory focusing on the figure of Alberti, was successfully held in Rimini. This initiative was conceived and directed by Silvia Fiaschi and Guido Giglioni within the framework of the Umanesimo Adriatico project, in collaboration with Guido Bartolucci (Unibo), Cecilia Muratori (UniPv), and the Gambalunga Library, under the auspices of Ciram.

It was a remarkable initiative aimed at scientific dissemination, innovative education, cultural promotion, and territorial valorization. It commenced with a visit to the Malatesta Temple, guided by architect Johnny Farabegoli and enriched by a lecture from James Vigus on the literary testimonies of English travelers.

The day continued at the Gambalunga Library, where Maria Cecilia Antoni illustrated the historical rooms, and a roundtable discussion on L.B. Alberti: engineering of images and words took place. The discussion involved Guido Bartolucci, Silvia Fiaschi, Guido Giglioni, and Cecilia Muratori. Young researchers also participated in the debate, including Giada Capasso, Francesca De Luca, Leonardo Graciotti, Michele Merlicco, and Giorgia Paparelli. The event witnessed significant participation from the citizens of Rimini.

Thanks to all those who contributed to this extraordinary opportunity for sharing and growth.
